Welcome to KGH Makeup! I’m Katelyn Harold, an NYC-based Actress/Singer/Dancer/Model/Theatre Coach and MUA! Thank you for being here, and if you’re new—here’s a little bit about my story.

I graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College, and had the wonderful opportunity to perform at The John W. Engeman Theatre in Jersey Boys, Legally Blonde, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Performing on various stages for the last 10 years, I curated a deep love for makeup. Oftentimes getting to create my own makeup designs, I was so creatively fueled by having a say in how I looked cosmetically onstage. My Theatrical Makeup Course at MMC completely changed how I view my relationship to makeup and theatre, and helped me forge a path on where I wanted my future to go. Hence, KGH Makeup was born out of a love for both makeup and the arts.

In December 2024 I became a Certified Freelance Makeup Artist through the Online Makeup Academy, specializing in Headshot Makeup + Hair, Male Grooming, and Special Event Makeup. Additionally, I am Barbicide COVID-19 Certified. I cannot wait to bring my knowledge and passion for makeup into the space with you!

Makeup Services

Headshot Makeup | $225

I offer Headshot Makeup Applications starting at $225 (includes travel rate. Headshot Makeup includes base matching, color correcting, concealing, powdering, eyeshadow, liner, brows, contour, blush, and a lip. This includes an evening bump should you want a bolder look later in the session. Bold Lips + Lashes are an additional $10 each.
Headshot Makeup + Hair | $275

I offer Headshot Makeup + Hair starting at $275 (includes travel rate). Our session with begin with standard Makeup Prep + Application and I will finish with Hair Styling or Retouching. I offer full hair-styling or light retouches including a Blow-Out Look, Curls, Half-Up/Down, and Ponytails.
Male Grooming | $200

I offer Male Grooming Applications starting at $200 (includes travel rate). This includes base matching, color correcting, powdering, as well as any grooming you are looking for during our session. I will arrive with disposable razors and shaving cream on-site, and have scissors or tweezers should you need additional touch-ups. This also includes an evening bump should you want something bolder later in your shoot.
Special Event Makeup | $225

I offer Special Event Makeup for Birthday Parties, proms, Engagement Shoots, Bridal Showers, and Bridal Parties starting at $225 (includes travel rate). Our session will start with skin prep and a tailored makeup application for your special day. lashes (individual or strip) and Bold Lips are an additional $10.

Since I collab with NYC + LI based Headshot Photographers, they typically handle the booking process! However, should you want to hire me for your shoot, send a message over to kghmakeup@gmail.com and we can go from there!
Should you hire me for any makeup application, I’ll come directly to you! (or your photographer, whatever we have discussed beforehand!) I have a travel makeup kit equipped for all our needs during our session. If you have a table, medium height chair, or natural light - that helps us greatly!
Yes! For any service located in NYC, Long Island, or the five boroughs, I have a $25 travel rate.
