-
Who Do You Teach?
I work with students of all ages and experience levels — from high school and college performers to working industry professionals. I welcome singers at every stage of their development who are curious, committed, and eager to deepen their understanding of their voice.
-
Where Are You Located?
I offer lessons in NYC, on Long Island, and virtually. In-person sessions incur a studio rental fee, which varies by studio and availability. Please inquire for current rates and scheduling options.
-
What Happens During a Lesson?
Each 60-minute lesson begins with a brief conversation about your vocal background and current goals. From there, we move into guided breath work and targeted vocal exercises specifically curated to support the development of your individual instrument. Techniques explored in the warm-up are then applied directly to repertoire of your choosing, ensuring practical, transferable growth.
-
What Do I Need For My First Lesson?
For your first lesson, come with an open heart and mind! I’ll ask you to discuss your vocal background, demonstrate and have you play around with various breathing techniques, and work through some fun exercises! Bring a song you absolutely LOVE to sing, and get ready to play!
-
What is Your Cancellation/No Show Policy?
I require 24 hours’ notice for any lesson & coaching cancellations. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours will incur the full lesson fee and any applicable studio rental charges. Reschedules may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis for illness or emergencies.
-
How Do Virtual Lessons Work?
Virtual lessons follow the same structure as in-person sessions, including warm-ups, technical exercises, repertoire work, and goal-focused discussion. Students should have a stable internet connection, a computer with microphone and webcam capability, and access to their sheet music. A secondary device for accompaniment, recording, or note-taking is recommended. Students are welcome to record lessons for personal reference.
-
What Should I Bring To My Lesson?
I’d recommend bringing a water bottle (with electrolytes is always a plus!), a metal straw, a device/audition book for your sheet music, a notebook and a writing utensil.
